Delphi AI Alternatives: 7 Options Compared
· MentorClone Team
MentorClone is a Delphi alternative for people who want advice from an expert's own public work, with a link to where they said each point. The right alternative depends on which side you're on. If you're an expert who wants to sell an AI version of yourself, look at Coachvox AI or BuddyPro. If you want to build a chatbot on your own documents, look at CustomGPT. If you want to ask a specific expert and check the answer, look at MentorClone or Get Mentors.
Every price and quote below comes from each company's own site, checked on October 11, 2026.
First, what Delphi is
Delphi lets an expert build a "Digital Mind" of themselves. Its pricing page lists a Free plan for "Your first Digital Mind", Builder at $79 a month "for professionals and creators", Scaler at $299 a month "for leaders with growing audiences", and a custom Immortal plan "for celebrities and public figures". Annual billing saves "up to 20%".
The buyer is the person being cloned. Keep that in mind, because most alternatives split along the same line. For a longer side-by-side, see MentorClone vs Delphi.
For experts who want their own AI
Coachvox AI
Coachvox is built for coaches. Its homepage says: "An AI version of you gives them your thinking on-demand, in your voice, before they make an inquiry." You upload documents and web content, and you can charge for access, add coupons and set a trial period. There is one plan at $83 a month billed annually, with a free trial that needs a card.
Pick it if you coach and want an AI version of you to bring in leads. It's close to Delphi in purpose, priced near Delphi's Builder plan, with one plan instead of tiers.
BuddyPro
BuddyPro sells an "AI twin" that experts offer "as a premium subscription" to their own clients. It is aimed at coaches, consultants and experts, and says the twin is "Not a chatbot. Not a course." It doesn't publish a price. The site describes "one flat yearly platform fee" and keeps the figures for a free training webinar, with a 21-day refund guarantee.
Pick it if you want a done-for-you, paid AI product for your audience and don't mind a sales call to get the number.
For businesses with their own documents
CustomGPT
CustomGPT builds chatbots "trained on their own data". Standard is $99 a month and Premium $499 a month, with a 7-day free trial that needs a card. Its plans list citations to sources, and it markets "anti-hallucination technology".
Pick it if the knowledge is yours: support docs, internal wikis, a product catalog. It's not built around a person's advice.
Personal.ai
Personal.ai now calls itself "The AI Memory Platform". Its pricing page is aimed at telecom carriers, with no public prices: "Let's scope it together." Its pricing page isn't written for creators.
For people who want to ask an expert
MentorClone
MentorClone is built for the person asking. Each mentor answers only from one person's own videos, podcasts and posts. Live today: Arvid Kahl, Rob Walling and Marc Lou on business, Jeff Nippard on training, Emma McAdam on anxiety and coping skills, and Cal Newport on deep work.
You describe your situation and get a direct recommendation. Each point links to where they said it, down to the moment for video. When they never covered your question, the mentor says so instead of guessing. Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients can ask the same mentor, so your agent checks the advice before it acts. Plans are Starter $19, Pro $29 and Max $59 a month. You can try three questions on any mentor page first.
The limits: a short list of people, English only, paid only, and the experts haven't endorsed their mentors. Pro and Max let you build a private mentor of someone else: type their name and we find where they publish.
Get Mentors
Get Mentors is a phone app with "441 mentors", one idea each morning and a five-mentor chat board. Its answers are "AI synthesis of what a mentor has published, written about them in the third person", each linked to the source. It costs $7.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 7-day trial on the annual plan.
Pick it for breadth and a cheap daily habit. Pick MentorClone when you want one person's advice on your situation in their own terms. More in MentorClone vs Get Mentors.
Dexa
Dexa answered questions from podcast archives and still shows up in search results. It has shut down: its pages now read "Dexa has shut down." If you used it to ask Cal Newport, see MentorClone vs Dexa.
