A Personal AI Mentor, in Their Own Words

You have a decision to make. You've been circling it for weeks. Someone you respect has almost certainly faced the same thing and talked about it in public.
You can't ask them. Good coaching runs hundreds an hour, if you find someone good, and the person you actually want doesn't sell calls. Even paid help comes in monthly slots.
The free version is right there. Years of podcasts, videos and posts. Your answer is probably in there somewhere, and you'd need a year of listening to find it. So you ask a chatbot, and it agrees with you. Tell it to be the person you follow and it will happily make them up.
We built MentorClone for that gap.
What you get
Pick a mentor and tell it where you stand. Your numbers, your goal, the thing you're stuck on. You get a straight answer for your situation, built only from what that person actually said.
Each point links to where they said it. For a video, you land on the moment. For a post, you get the post. If they never covered your question, the mentor tells you so. It won't fill the gap with a guess in their voice.
It remembers you, too. Mention once that you run a two-person agency and you won't have to say it again next week. You can see and delete what it keeps in settings. Good answers stay in your history, and you can share one with a link and switch the link off later.

Rob Walling built and sold Drip and co-founded MicroConf and TinySeed. His mentor is built from the Startups for the Rest of Us podcast. What an answer looks like
Say you have 40 customers at $29 a month and nobody has pushed back on the price in a year. You ask Rob whether to raise it.
You get a recommendation up top, then what to do next, each point linked to the episode it came from. One of the lines behind it:
"if you're not getting any complaints about price, then your price is too low"

Your AI agent can ask too

The limits, plainly
We build every mentor ourselves and check it before it goes live. You can't make your own. A mentor that misquotes someone is worse than no mentor. Content is English only for now. If the person a mentor is built from asks us to take it down, we do it within 24 hours.

Who is MentorClone for?

Can I make a mentor myself?
No. We build and check each one. Rob Walling and Arvid Kahl are live, and you can request someone at hello@mentorclone.ai.
Does the mentor speak for the real person?
No. It's built from their public work, and they didn't write or endorse it. Each point links to their own words so you can judge for yourself.
What happens if they never talked about my question?
The mentor tells you it has nothing from that person on it. It doesn't guess.
What does it cost?
Nothing while we're in beta. You need an account. No card.
